What does it mean temporary?
“..effective for a time only; not permanent..” (definition from Dictionary.com)
What is a cloud?
“..a visible collection of particles of water or ice suspended in the atmosphere..” (definition from Dictionary.com)
Why cloud?
Basically cloud is the name we give to water in a different shape or better, in a different phase. Which means that depending from the surrounding conditions, water can be in different state of matter, always remaining water.
Cloud is the name we gave to the form. Water is what the form is made of.
When the condition changes, the cloud empty its self and water change form again.
“Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another” Albert Einstein
So basically a cloud is “effective for a time only and is not permanent“. A cloud is temporary.
Same for all the different states of water.
What if we could extend this principle to everything in nature, ourselves included?
“In nature, nothing is created and nothing is destroyed, but everything is transformed” Antoine Laurent Delavosier
What if nothing is created or destroyed, but everything is transformed and we are just a different form, effective for a time only, not permanent?
Why being upset and focus fears on the temporary condition of something that cannot be destroyed?
Why can’t I be relaxed and just enjoy this form now not being afraid of what comes next?
“gazing clouds I focus this lightness,
silence crowd thoughts mindless”

Yeah as Buddha rightly says, “One should be in constant state of departure while always arriving.”
World is in constant flux and so is life.😉

I deeply agree! I like very much the idea of life as a fluid, like water, changing, adapting..

Yeah more like straw in river it just moves on. But it’s hard to be that fluid even though best we can do…

but trying to be as fluid as we can be, is what keeps us liquid… so we keep try and if we get stuck on a rock, we will menage to free ourselves by being more liquid… even if it means to become a whirlpool for a while…
